Black Rock Lodge will host this 7-night adventure into the Mayan Mountains of Belize.  This unique eco-lodge situated in the dense rainforest above the Macal River is a dedicated environmental steward.  The lodge is off-the-grid, producing electricity with clean energy, through both solar and hydro power and generated by non-polluting, renewable resources. 100% of the water use is supplied by a nearby mountain spring and the lodge applies wastewater management techniques. The Lodge’s 13 cabins boast stunning views of Black Rock Canyon, the Macal River, and the surrounding rainforest and wildlife. The cabins are airy one-room structures built to take advantage of the fresh mountain breezes with screened windows and high pitched rooflines creating a bright and refreshing rainforest home.  The restaurant features fresh, local foods including organic fruits grown onsite and the staff come from the local communities of San Ignacio, Bullet Tree, and Santa Elena.

In addition to morning and evening asana and meditation sessions this trip will also include a day trip to the Mayan ruins of Tikal, located just over the border in Guatemala.  This complete guided day tour is included in your package.
